PON LAN - FTTx

The optical passive networks (PON LAN) for local networks consist of the traditional copper cabling and switches solution substitution for optical fiber and splitters. Therefore, the concept of alternating successive generations of copper cables (Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A. etc ) is shifted to a solution that preserves the investment. Future proof!
They are totally passive networks, without repeaters or intermediate sources of energy inside the network, only optical components are used: Splitter, cables, cords and distributors. All information is transmitted bidirectionally under a single fiber. Everything you see on the internet is very well stored on powerful and secure machines on servers, they are devices that stay connected 24 hours a day, so that the websites are out of the air and you can access anytime, from anywhere. However, we are not talking about a new technology: since 1988 the PON Networks are used by the operators as an interesting solution to offer users access.
